This of course was a comment on the Pet Emporium Post. Death threats don't bother me. Never have, never will. They claim to be a Firefighter/See/Gordy ass wipe suck up but I'm not so sure. Don't worry Folks, I won't be allowing any more comments of the sort in the near future but I just wanted to remind all of you, doing what I do every day isn't easy. YOU wouldn't want to do it nor would YOU want to deal with the threats.

To the %*)#W(*%(*# who made that comment/threat, I say: Not only does Joe have enough friends to carry his casket when he dies at a ripe old age, he has enough to carry YOURS when you die of bitterness eating up your guts. Whether or not they would be willing to do it is another story.

You'll get less of those comments when high school starts back up. Shame you can't card at the door. Someone needs to let these kids know that this is grown-up time. Or perhaps their parents need to teach them that there is a polite way to disagree with someone that doesn't make them act like they're 4 years old, degenerate or just completely socially inept.

This comment is not in reference to this article however I want to inform you of some information. I am a friend of Mr. Stewart Leir and he wanted me to inform you the Daily Times has failed to publish anything in reference to his current situation with the city in the Historic District. He told me he has contacted the Daily Times numerous times not a thing has been published. He is believes this is occurring because of Barrie Tilghman. If you could investigate it would be greatly appreciated. Keep up the GOOD WORK.

Hilarious. To be threatened and hated for putting the truth in everybody's face. What a concept. I personally want to thank you Joe. For telling us the truth, for saying what most people are afraid to say and for standing up for those (yes even the ones that threaten you) while they just sit in misery and complain but never take action. I for one, am glad to see that there's someone out there that thinks like I do and speaks their mind just as I do without caring who it offends. The world is not rainbows and flowers and people aren't always what they appear to be. You can either sit in ignorance and wallow in your bliss or you can educate yourselves so you can see what the world and the assholes in it are all about. I applaud you Joe. Keep doing exactly what you do. And if for some reason an "unfortunate accident" were to ever happen to you, I would be the first one in line to carry your casket!
