WOW, Where did you post anything about some pet emporium. I have not seen it, but am very interested in reading it since it must trash them or they wouldn't have their panties in such a bunch. I remember that original post. It was quite some time ago. Anyway, "clean cages twice a week" WOW. She would be fired here at my house and I am sure at Joe's house as well the first day. I can't imagine only cleaning a cage of anything except a goldfish only twice a week. They need to be SHUT DOWN, but then remember Lower Slower Delaware. Oops. "Spice"

Please od not deal with pet stores that sell animals (puppies, especially).
NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU, the animals have come from a puppy mill. Do a Google search and educate yourselves. You are NOT saving the poor, genetically challenged puppy from the forces of evil, you are promoting the people running these places to keep on keeping on. If no one buys puppy mill dogs, they will stop breeding them.
Breeding is not something to be done to make money. Reputable breeders seldom do. Each and every litter of Labradors bred by a RESPONSIBLE breeder has the following health certificates:
OFA (Orthopaedic Foundation for Animals) testing on hips and elbows, OFA for thyroid, CERF (Canine Eye Research Foundation) for eyes, DNA on record with the AKC, DNA tests for EIC (exercise Induced Collapse) and CNM (Centronuclear Myopathy), and heart testing.
Each breed has its own issues and tests. Ya think a puppy mill breeder even knows who the parents of their pups are????
Now that I have gone back and reread the post, the Katie chick and her sissy boss are so retarted. I will say, although I have never had a bird, but have had hampsters that cleaning the cage two or three times a week is alright. I'm leaning more on the three side though. Animal cages don't need to be cleaned everyday,it depends on what type of animal and how many are in each cage. 2 times a week is okay for the cages at the pet emporium.. well last time I was there it was okay. So everyone knows the truth I didn't get fired I got a better job and stopped going there. :) I quit. Yes for someone of my age I do have a mouth who doesn't? When someone deserves it... your going to get it thats the way i look at it. And if anyone reading this had gone into the store when i was there you'd understand that. Ed also wasn't on vacation he was right behind me reading and helping me out a bit, do you actually think I would say "you shop at the rest i shop at the best" NOPE.
