When the project started city officials understood the transition would be a complex and risky. But even when project is complete the sewage spills might not be over.
Stevens adds that, "we have limited historical experience with some of this new equipment," saying also, "there may be some equipment failures."
He says there may be future spills but they'll be cleaner than in years past, "the quality of this water is much better than what we've been sending for the last 20 years," says Steven's.

I saw that on 47 last night, sounded comforting doesn't it? $80,000,000 WWTP and dang near saying to expect more sewage spills after it is completed
how can poop be cleaner than poop from the past. poop is poop. where do they get these people from???
Cruggly, this guy has a degree he graduated from the BPT school of BS. Problem is she forgot to tell him no one is buying his BS or hers for that matter.
Oh as far as the poop being cleaner...first they gotta figure out how to run the damned thing before they can clean anything.
