Boy that blue herin sure likes your pond, Joe. He must like all the easy fishing there for your gold fish? Great picture too!

When you see the wonderful things
that God has given the eastern
shore , you wonder how Mr. Wade fits into all of this.
I love the beautiful blue heron ...BUT I hate it as well. I have a little pond I kept many goldfish and about 15 various size KOI. Several of the Koi were of good size and valuable, 2 were very large and even more valuable. I raised each of these koi inside moving them to larger tanks untill they were too big for our 75 gal.
Within the first week the heron wiped out all my smaller fish. We netted the pond, set all kinds of deterants...
The beautiful blue heron's would perch on my roof and wait for supper daily. thier wing span was 6 foot plus! Drove my dogs wild.
They got every last valuable one. Broke my heart.
