John Swanson the Chair of the City Park Committee has emailed me and will be giving me a response on the City Park area. I thank him for taking the time to answer these questions that have been posted, it is much appreciated.

This and the equally deplorable state of the downtown plaza is the result of using limited city funds for such things as the Salisbury Festival and now the "All-American City" contest and a "dog park", as well as over expenditure in general (just looks at the Mayor's Office and City Attorney funds in the budget). And the Zoo is getting almost $1 Million. Perhaps some of that funding could be better spent elsewhere in the City Park and other locations.
