Question of the Day, Wed 5/28

There has been much talk about the Dough Roller fire. Last week, Joe had posted the new construction, which ignited more controversy regarding upstairs residency. Most were told during the fire that NO ONE was living upstairs.

According to Joe, Nilly Gibbs has told everyone that NO ONE lived upstairs.

According to MD Coast Dispatch, the article written by Ali Baker on 5/23 states, "Two cops, already in the area for an unrelated matter, had also spotted the smoke, and together they began clearing out customers and making sure that the employee who was living in the upstairs apartments was brought to safety."

Mr. & Mrs. Gibbs told a manager of another Dough Roller that someone WAS LIVING upstairs. They had left a ceramic heater on when had started the fire. This manager gave me this information the day after the fire. She was in my office, where she is a customer.

So, which is it? Who's covering for who? Will there ever be a "cause of fire" on paper?

Sunny,

For readability, could you keep your posts to one font size (perferably one that is consistent with the other contributors?)

I am not commenting on what you post or the topics you choose, but on how they appear. By changing font sizes and using "bold print" constantly, you make your posts difficut to read and slightly distracting. They seem (visually) out of step with everything else on this blog, to your detriment.

Just a suggestion. Thanks.

I think we have and will continue to see suspicious fires as the economy worsens.

People do desperate things in desperate times.

Big news for Ocean City over Memorial Day weekend...No Bridge Backups!
