Just thought you would like to see how well some folks live next door to each other.
Here in West Ocean City, on Balte Road (turn off Keyser Point and head NE) on the right side of the road you'll notice how one neighbor informs his next door neighbor what he thinks of them.

Interesting how we have come to this as a society. I drove by and confirmed this photo. It is there in WOC on Balte Road (c'mon SunnyInOC... get out there and see what's going on!).
Anyway, there is NOTHING that can be done about this. There are no profanity laws on the books to stop one neighbor from sharing their true feelings with another.
The sad part is, is that children see this every day, twice a day, at their bus stop. Heaven forbid if this escalates into something more physical between these two.
As much as I think associations are a pain in the butt at times, this wouldn't have happened or could be removed through due process in a neighborhood with a strong HOA. I'm glad I live in a West OC subdivision with a decent association.
Is Barrie the neighbor this is directed at?
Did someone vandalize their own fence just to piss off their neighbor? Thats weak. And stupid. Or did the neighbor spray the fence on HIS side and now he has to read it? I dont get this picture.
Hold on...the guy painting on the fence may not be the jerk. It looks like he is screening a bunch of junk that his neighbor refuses to clean up.
I lived with a hoa for 15 years and got really tired of the restrictions, however I keep my property much better maintained than either of my neighbors.
Some people deserve what they get.

Drive out Rockawalkin road just outside of Salisbury and you will see other "neighborly"neighbor signs posted.
We have lots of good neighbors here on Rockawalkin Rd the people in the house with the red roof just happen to be an exception

In response to anonymous regarding "good neighbors" and the people in the house with the red tin roof being the "expection". First, there are 2 sides to EVERY STORY. Just ask the surrounding neighbors about the character, morals and values of those folks. Second, REGARDLESS of the actions of another person there is a standard of responsible behavior, those who have NO OTHER options have no choice but to resort to being a bully, harassment and just plain nastiness. If we all acted like these jerks, what kind of place would this be??? I commend the people living in the house with the red tin roof for NOT reacting to the behavior of the obvious twisted person living behind them. By the way, I believe children live there, what a way to be an example. One day you will cross paths with the people you and everyone like you, mistreats and karma says when you cross paths it will not go in your favor. Grow up, count your blessings and move on!
Actually, you can hire an attorney in these cases. It falls under the right to quiet enjoyment of your property, the right to the pursuit of happiness and harassment.
I know the ENTIRE story about Rockawalkin and the person doing the harassing of the folks in the house with the red roof, doesn't really want anyone to know about it. Simply put, it was a property line dispute that did not go in his favor. Of course there is alot more to the story, however, it does not put him in a good light given his occupation. This is his adult way of handling it. His way of compromise is his way or you will get bullied and harassed. He has no resources left but to act the way he does. The family in the house will prevail, they do not harbor any resentments, there has been no reaction to his childish behavior. Very sad that he has nothing in his life but his anger. He should be grateful that these people have not posted there own signs or worse.
The people in the house with the red roof are a very nice family with small children that has to put up with the narrow minded, selfish, comments from the AHOLE living in the house behind them. He continues to harass the family in the red roof house with signs, noise and smells. Unless you know the facts or the family in the red roof house, you should keep your comments to yourself.
To the person who thinks that the family in the Red Roof House are the exception to good folks. You could not be more wrong. Alot of us would have reacted a lot more strongly to this harassment of our property and family. This is a family trying to live a quite life At the same time trying not to let the bully with no life get the best of them. Hats off to Red Roof House.
I totally agree that the family in the little red roof house are very nice and they do have a small child!No one should have to be tormented like that day after day.......

Whoa,Whoa,Whoa!!!!To the person who "Knows the whole story" I do not believe so.I normally do not post on this blogg,I find my amusement by reading everyone else's comments.But,this one I just had to speak out about,for what it's worth.I know BOTH of these families and I can tell you from experience that the folks in the "Back" house on Rockawalkin are kind,decent,hard working people.No need to call names,and to all of you "PERFECT" citizens out there: DON'T JUDGE A MAN UNLESS YOU HAVE WALKED A MILE IN HIS SHOES"!!!And yes,there are 2 sides to every story.So,put that in your pipe and smoke it. Actually, I have spoken to the "Folks" in the back and I do know the whole story. More than you even know. See, that is the best part about being ANONYMOUS, you have no idea who I am, but just by your comments, I know who you are. I am a huge supporter of Joe, I know he did not create this blog for people to vent their personal issues. It is to voice your opinion, a constructive opinion about current issues. Your issue is not current and people in this area are well aware of it and agree it is just bad manners on your part. Believe you should let it go. You do not have to behave in the manner in which you choose express yourself. Enough said. You will hear nothing more from me. Remember, one day you, your children, your children's children may be on the recieving end of such outlandish behavior. If you truly feel you are in the "right", you would not feel the need to lashout in such a way.

I simply stated that what was being said was not true regarding the family in the red roof house, maybe you should take the time to re-read the blog entries before you comment. I do not disagree that they are hard working, decent people, but the family the first blogger was "trashing" are good people too. And for the record I do know the ENTIRE STORY from both sides. OK so heres the thing, I think the family in the red roof house are amazing to put up with the childs play from the people in the back. As a medical student I do think they have some meds for things of this nature. I think the town should just let it all go and leave these people alone, they do have small children that have to see this and wonder why ?? Now I think that the name calling is nuts and SOME people need to grow up and get a life for real, you have nothing better to do with your time, boy I sure hope ya'll are not family that would just suck for real. Good luck to the family in the red roof house, I love what you have done with the place, if only you could live in peace.
