Excellent point! This is exactly why the intelligent Council Members are questioning her motives. This is nothing new to the Mayor and why was it produced LONG AFTER her proposed Budget? Any taxpayer falling for her load of crap is, well, just as dumb as she wants you to be.

Barrie has been outfoxed by Ms. Cohen and Ms. Campbell AGAIN. They are on Barrie and her illogical fairy tales like there's no tomorrow! Pitiful Gary, Louise and Shanie can hardly find the door and their chairs--they just don't understand like the Dynamic Duo does when it comes to financial matters and planning.
And Barrie really appears in need of a complete neuro workup--she's overdue.
Barrie--your worn out old tricks just arent' workin' for us anymore. We're tired of them and we can now spot them coming--you're worn out yourself. Give it up--you're stale and we're done with it.
And remember how Barrie and Gary are always saying "we trust staff"--looks like that surely is not case as to John Jacobs and Pam Oland. Jacobs apparently didn't see the crumbling pipes coming and plan for it and Oland can't manage the money without City propping her up.
If Shanie bothered to read the briefing book instead of her magazines at the council table maybe she'd have a clue as to what is going on.
We pay her $10k to read magazines and eat chocolates? I guess when you know all you have to do is what Bubba does it really doesn't matter.

She couldn't ask for such a large sum of money in infastructure repairs back then, because she and the bobble heads were busy giving it all away in TIF's and other ways to help the contractors and Sapoa! As always the problems have come home to roost as a result of her negligence and ignorance of common business sense, which she lacks! How did we ever get ourselves into this with her anyway???
