Pocomoke FD Relocates To New Station

You can't help but be proud of this community and its leaders in their Fire Department. Coming in at UNDER $2,000,000.00, this Station is as large, (if not larger) than the SFD's new Station and it looks twice as nice, seriously. I encourage each and every one of you to take a ride to Pocomoke and ask for a tour of their new facility. When you do so and see what they got for the money, you'll be calling the Feds to come to Salisbury and see just where $8,000,000.0 of the alleged $10,000,000.00 of your tax dollars actually went.

I'm not kidding Folks, something is seriously wrong here! Don't let anyone fool you into believing they simply converted an old Grocery Store either because I spoke with the Chief in Pocomoke and he assured me they took that building down to the dirt because there was no way the floors would stand up to heavy equipment as well as the fact that the building wasn't tall enough.

So not only did they buy the land, they had to demolish what was standing there, remove it and then start out new. Oh, did I forget to mention they did it for less than $2,000,000.00? Oh well, none of you care anyway, so it's no big deal.

Another big plus for Pocomoke is that the beautiful new firehouse was designed by one of the fire company's own members- Matt Esham. That should make the community even more proud of such a beautiful building. Kudos to Matt and the staff at Blades for turning an eyesore into a stunning addition to the community!
