What Is Politics If It Ain't Fun?

Ok my friends, lets vote, Please send me your picks for Iowa.............1.2.3. Democrat 1.2.3. Republican. Please submit before the opening of the polls in Iowa.

Remember, this is not your choice....this is what you think... It is for your prediction of what those folks in the middle of America think, or in other words, who spent the most money per voter, and who got the best return on their investment.

I do not think Iowa has anything to do with the Big Red or Big Blue votes, which might happen on Super Tuesday, but at least we can do is have some fun.

I will send our results to Joe Albero to publish, with no names, just how the 12 of us voted. 12 is an interesting number....if you do not wish to participate, hey that is ok too.

Happy Iowa Caucus day. Will we hold up until 09.?

P.S. If you do not mind, I will send you the results, without names.,

Here are the results.......

The ballots were sent to 12 people, 7 chose to vote (sound familiar)
The tabulation are as follows.

1st Ranking Democrats.............Clinton 3 Obama 2 Edwards 1
2nd Ranking Clinton 3 Obama 3 Edwards 2
3rd Ranking Clinton 1 Obama 2 Edwards 4

1st Ranking Republicans Romney 2 Huckabee 4 McCain 1
2nd Ranking Romney 3 Huckabee 1 McCain 2 Gulliani 1
3rd Ranking Romney 2 Huckabee 2 McCain 3

Biden was mentioned as a dark horse for third in the Dems race.

The results are

1 Clinton, 2, Obama, 3, Edwards

1 Huckabee 2 Romney 3 McCain

This is a completely non scientific poll and the margin of error is 100%

At 9:35 PM ABC is predicting Ob. the Dem winner, Edwards 2nd (barely) and then Hillary. Thank goodness we told my brother in law (he lives in Ames) that BARRIE TILGHMAN IS WORKING FOR HILLARY AS A PROSPECTIVE CONVENTION DELEGATE

Unfortunately, in Salisbury politics is no longer fun -- Barrie, the Dream Team and now the Scheme Team -- I rest my case.

Hey.........maybe everyone heard that Barrie is working for the Hillary camp and refused to vote for Hillary out of fear that she would bankrupt the nation the way that Barrie is bankrupting the City of Salisbury. Birds of a feather....right?

I was one of the 12 and am very proud of myself for calling the Dems exactly right: Obama, Edwards, Clinton. Alas, I was off on the third place finisher for the Republicans. I voted: Huckabee, Romney, McCain, but Thompson pulled up into 3rd, which I totally didn't expect.

I think Thompson has the best attiude relating to a domestic agenda. I like the idea of the states having the right to self govern everything outside the issues specifically delegated to the federal govt., in the constitution. I think his beilief that a free market with less government intrusion will drive a strong economy. AND I don't think he'd take a lot of poop from other countries when it comes to national defense.

It's just a shame that he lacks the fire to get people behind him and motivated. He doesn't seem like he's ever excited.
