From October 11, 2007 through October 30, 2007, Detectives from the Salisbury Police Department have been investigating a series of Armed Robberies that have been occurring in the in the south and southeast portions of the city. The suspects are 2-3 black males in their late teens to early twenties. They are wearing dark colored clothing and covering their faces with bandanas. The suspects are also brandishing firearms believed to be handguns, a rifle, a sawed off shotgun and a baseball bat. Suspects have been seen fleeing in a grey, silver, or gold Ford Contour or Tempo. The suspects appear to be picking their victims at random in the residential areas. In a recent reported robbery, the suspects ran at the victim who took refuge in his motor vehicle. The suspects began to strike his vehicle with a baseball bat several times. As the victim fled the area in his vehicle the suspects shot at the car breaking the rear window.
