The park sure did look a lot better then than it does now

Much thought and work went into making the downtown area appropriate for businesses.The streets were built to handle 10 times the traffic that they have now.That being said,why wasn't a simple re surfacing adequate?

Why is it interesting?? Asbury sold it and moved out by the college on College Avenue.

That's because the "park" was part of the river that was dammed and drained. They planted the trees after that part of the Wicomico River was drained. Do you ever wonder why the Salisbury Zoo is always flooding and drowning the zoo animals?? That's why!

Yep, that's what they used to do before all the Zoo animals used is as there Cess Pool. Shame on the City of Salisbury for polluting the Wicomico River with Zoo Poo!

No color for 16mm cameras which were usually privately owned. The Wizard of Oz was one of the first color major motion films and it was very expensive in comparable terms.
