Secret, a sponsor of the U.S. Women's National Soccer team, is now supporting its members' fight for pay equity as well.
The deodorant brand plans to make a "tangible commitment" to the team's demand for equal pay, it told CNN Business, contributing $529,000 to the U.S. Women's National Team Players Association.
In a full-page ad printed in Sunday's New York Times, Secret says it will donate $23,000 for each of the 23 players on the World Cup winning team to help close the pay gap. Secret also urges the organization to "be on the right side of history."
"Let's take this moment of celebration to propel women's sports forward," Secret says in the ad. "We urge the U.S. Soccer Federation to be a beacon of strength and end gender pay inequality once and for all."

It makes it smell better?
Problem is that their pay IS commensurate with the revenue that they generate...and that will decrease now with that Rapinoe dirtbag's activities!
nothing will cover that stench
Keep giving in to the lefts extortion
I really use to like women's soccer but now I really don't care to watch them. I'm a proud American that will defend my country and my Flag know matter what. Grow up little ladies learn how to change your situation with throwing a temper tantrum it's this country and that flag that has aloud you to get to the place you're at. Take it away and your the Thailand women's soccer team
Yeah, Super Bowl participants have a HUGE following of financial support. Here we have a single team that swamps the other teams in "that league" where there are next to no competitively matched teams
Why don't theses players switch leagues or stop doing what they are if the compensation is not sufficient for their needs. .
Beaten. Y a 16 year old boys team. Time for some trannies to take over this sport and run the rest of the nuts off
5:50,spot on to that!
"In one hypothetical case cited in the lawsuit, if the women's and men's teams both won 20 straight games in a season, the women would make 38% what the men do"
It doesn't matter if they win 20 or 2000 straight games, it matters how many people paid to see those games or watched on TV/phones.
@ 712 I thought you were in NJ at a wedding?
Absolutely correct. This girl with pink hair is too much into herself. What a loser all around.
Anyone remember secrets old slogan? Strong enough for a man but made for a woman.
Smells Like ? Team Spirit.
Likely better effective if they shaved their armpits.
It will help cover their stench
Wanna bet if the company pays their men more than their women?
Nope, missed it. They had it before I arrived
I agree with equal pay for the women. I DON'T agree with Pinky's hate and disrespect for America. She's ruined her team and that's a shame...I don't support this team in any way.
Wont but secret deodorant any more.
