Towson, MD – On Monday July 22 at approximately 6:10 p.m., at the Eastern Correctional Institution, an offender was located in his cell unresponsive. Correctional staff immediately began life-saving efforts while ECI medical staff responded to the cell and Fire and Rescue staff were called
The 51-year-old male was transported to Peninsula General Medical Center where medical staff pronounced him dead.
At approximately 7:25 p.m., a second inmate was located unresponsive in his cell. Correctional staff began life-saving efforts immediately. ECI medical staff was notified and Fire and Rescue staff was called to the institution
The 43-year-old male was transported to Peninsula General Medical Center where the medical staff pronounced him dead.
The identities of the two offenders are not being released pending notification of family.
These investigations are ongoing. No foul play is suspected. The medical examiner will conduct autopsies to determine the exact cause of death. Additional information will be released as it is confirmed.

No foul play? If it's drugs (maybe Fentanyl?), they were brought in illegally and caused the death of a person. That's one of the prime definitions of foul play, "violence or criminal actions that cause someone’s death."
Where is Peninsula General?
Drugs are brought in there all the time if they are willing to pay for it or cook it up themselves. It just happens they don't become Bible Thumpers in there they continue their downward spirals. Sad for their family members but for some it's more than trying to turn their lives around, it's the only life they have ever lived, it would have been the same results on the streets.

There is no need for officer participation until there is no contact with visitors the drugs WILL continue to get in. Even then road crews rubber gloves and porta potties it will be there they will not stop it. 90% of people in prison live better there than at wherever they call home plus they can think they're someone in prison when they're no one on the streets

Stabbing in Salisbury
At 0110 hours on 7-29-2019 the Salisbury Fire Department Station 1 was dispatched to the corner of Washington and Madison Street for an unknown age male that has been stabbed. SPD notified and units are to stage.
Engine 1 with 22C and Amb B-1 responded at 0112 Ambulance B-1
Units staged at Schumaker and Snow Hill Rd at 0115
Don't forget the Shooting on East Church Street in the area of Davis Street on Friday night/Saturday morning that was never reported.
