Obamas in talks with Netflix

Former President Barack Obama and wife Michelle Obama are reportedly in talks with Netflix to produce shows for the streaming service.

No deal has been struck yet, but sources told the New York Times that Obama does not intend to use the platform as a way to respond to President Trump, his successor. Instead, the shows would focus on inspirational stories.

One idea being tossed around is a show on issues important to Obama's presidency, including healthcare and the environment. Another concerns nutrition, an issue close to Michelle Obama during her time as first lady.

So, it's an extension of Obama's presidency, where he talks more people into carrying his water.

Will netflix be aloud to film inside of Gitmo?

That's what I told my husband. We will not subscribe to Netflix. We have had enough of the Obama's in the last 8+ years.

But not one single person reading this knows what his next job is.I do but I'm special. He will be in that position before anyone can stop him,and it DOES NOT have anything to do with the UN.I can't wait for the announcement, because just like everything else he did without approval he'll take over his new position.

The worst President ever is trying to improve his legacy. He is a crooked foreign born POS that tried to destroy this country and he is still trying.Obummer and the Hildabeast should both be in prison.

Just more proof that Obama only wanted to be a "celebrity president" - not envisioning anything other than the fame and legacy he would acquire - and with an eye on the massive monetary profits available to him when he "retires".
Clinton was the same way.

What in the hell can that pair come up with that would be inspirational?

Oh no. I’m sure Netflix are scrambling to devise a plan to stay in business after losing your $12 a month.
Typical Trump voter mentality.

Netflix would be wise to consider how pissing off half the country might affect viewership and subscriptions. That's assuming subscribers mirror voters. My guess would be that subscribers are a notch above average in income; if so, the hurt could be worse.

Currently Netflix isn't losing anything by not having a deal with him, but they could certainly step out on the ledge.

First rule of business - hang onto existing customers while prospecting for more. What kind of fan club tuned into the weird return of Letterman?

Do you have a mentality? If Republicans and those for a better America should stand up and be counted or forever hold your peace. Idiot that has all the answers but doesn't share spells stupid. No nothing.

Trump is doing an excellent job of that.
