The neuroscientist who analyzed Aaron Hernandez's brain has confirmed that he suffered the worst case ever seen in someone so young, with severe damage to regions that affect memory, impulse control and behavior.
The 27-year-old former New England Patriots player killed himself in April while serving life in prison for murder.
In September, Dr Ann McKee of the CTE Center at Boston University posthumously diagnosed Hernandez with chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a football-linked disease that causes dementia and aggression.

Man, there is a lot of CTE running rampid in Salisbury then... I guess being dropped on your head as a baby gives a new reason to be a thug.
And yet every fall weekend you send your children out on to the football fields in hopes that they will get a scholarship or go "pro".

His condition runs in his family there is zero evidence that football played a part... drugs can do they same damage as well .
Well, the NFL is committing suicide anyway, so no need to train your kids to go into a closing career opportunity. Might as well go for baseball or B-Ball. Hockey's good, too if training for a boxing career or MMA, LOL!
