A Pittsburgh Public School teacher was seriously injured after officials say she was followed in her car and assaulted after school, allegedly in a dispute over a child’s cellphone.
Hours after the incident, late on Wednesday night, Pittsburgh Police confirmed to KDKA that they are working on an arrest warrant or warrants for a suspect or suspects in the case, who remain unidentified.
The incident reportedly started at Pittsburgh King PreK-8 School on the North Side earlier on Wednesday. Sources described to KDKA’s Marty Griffin a “rather shocking and violent incident.”
The district has a “no cell phone” policy. The teacher, identified as 46-year-old Janice Watkins, confiscated a phone from a fourth grade girl, who then allegedly bit her. Sources say the student’s parents came to school, with the mother allegedly telling the teacher she was “going to get even.”

It's a cellphone! People are nuts.
These are not people, they are animals and they walk among us. The schools around here have some of these monsters in them. Albeit a small amount, but there is danger lurking.
The mother is in for some deep trouble, along with her little gang. All over a cellphone that the kid wasn't supposed to have. The judge is going to have a ball with this.
Did this mother by any chance wear a cowboy hat?
Maybe no cowboy hat, but she should plan on wearing orange.

LOL! No, there's whackadoodles without cowboy hats, too. See Maxine Waters as the main arguing point there. I think it's older-crazy-black-lady-Democrat-been-in-office-too- dang-long disease. Sane, legal voters required for the cure; cure uncertain at this time.
Fourth grade is too old to be biting people; I guess we can see where her bad behaviour is taught from! I'm saying it every day now, regarding numerous issues: people have been acting as if they've lost their damned minds!
No they are people. Animals raise their young better, they don't stalk and attack for revenge.
