12-Year-Old Stabbing Suspect Not Arrested Because Of Her Diplomatic Status

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — A 12-year-old girl accused of stabbing a 13-year-old while at school in Washington D.C. has not yet been arrested because of her diplomatic status.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the stabbing happened Tuesday afternoon, at a school in the 2000 block of Wisconsin Ave.

Responding officers found a 13-year-old boy who had been stabbed multiple times. He was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

What exactly IS the "punishment" for prosecuting, or for that matter, killing a diplomat for a perceived crime?

Question...why would a girl stab a boy? Was she being harassed by this boy? Something caused her to be enraged. I'm thinking he's been sexually bothering her and no one in authority stopped him. Just my opinion.

As Fox 45 News reports, the 12-year-old foreign national allegedly stabbed a 13-year-old boy multiple times with a pair of scissors

While the nationality of the 12-year-old suspect was not initially revealed, German Embassy spokesman Matthias Wehler later confirmed that she is the daughter of a staff member at the Embassy.

Diplomatic immunity from prosecution doesn't mean you can't be kicked out of the country.
