Here's one I could never figure out: Three guys rent a hotel room for $30.00. Each one hands the desk clerk $10.00. Later, the desk clerk realizes the room is actually only $25.00, so he asks the bellhop to take $5.00 up to the room to reimburse the three guys. The bellhop figures three guys can't evenly split $5.00, so he goes to the room and gives them each $1.00 refund, and keeps $2.00 for himself. So..... The three guys end up paying $9.00 each for the room ($10 minus $1 refund.) Three times nine is $27.00 and the bellhop has $2.00. That comes out to a total of $29.00. Where's the other dollar?
5:08 That's a good one, but there isn't another dollar. It's semantics and very confusing. The three guys actually paid $27 for a $25 room (North SBY no doubt) and the bellhop kept the $2 difference.

The answer will be 6:15pm
9pm
9.
Nine is the answer. But the two people above who wrote that aren't that smart. They googled the answer.
It doesn't say before 1 AM. So I'm going with any hour because "it's 5 o'clock somewhere".
9:00 PM
It's 4:20 somewhere.
My watch is never wrong: it just says 'now'.
How could you possibly know the two that got the answer before you googled the solution?
I suggest 9 O'clock as well.
How could it possibly be on the quarter hour?
