** PARKING SPACE DISPUTE LEADS TO FIGHT **

** PARKING SPACE DISPUTE LEADS TO FIGHT **

Nakala S. Spencer, 20, of Laurel, Del., was arrested Saturday evening after she punched another female during a dispute over a parking space in the median of the first block of Rehoboth Avenue.

At around 6:30pm, Rehoboth Beach Police were called to the location for a report of an assault. During a subsequent investigation, officers learned that Spencer was attempting to reserve a parking space by standing in it when the victim, a 52 year old female from Parkton, Md., pulled her vehicle into the space. As the victim did so, Spencer refused to move. Spencer then proceeded to strike the victim in the face two times, grab the victim’s phone, and throw it to the ground.

Spencer had fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the officer’s arrival; however, an officer was able to locate the vehicle after a brief search at which point Spencer was taken into custody.
Spencer was arrested and charged with 1 count of offensive touching and 1 count of disorderly conduct, which are both misdemeanor crimes. Spencer was released on $1000.00 unsecured bail.

Rehoboth Beach Police would like to remind everyone that city ordinance prohibits the saving of parking spaces by pedestrians for vehicles.

Lmao. Offensive touching....what is assault then and I have a question was the lady who was Assaulted white?....I'm sure she probably was which is in my eyes a hate crime but for some reason its never a hate crime when it involves blacks commiting crimes on whites. The justice system, the media, and the outlook of the world is completely one sided....that's the money side and we all should put a stop to it!!!!!!!

Parkton Maryland, meet Laurel Delaware.

Offensive/unwanted touching is the Common Law definition of assault.

Get Ms Spencer I have a sister that's a little older white lady, but here's the catch she's built like a linebacker and moves like one too. Please feel free to try your bull**"* with someone like her

I don't question what flavor the good lady is or either one of them. I wonder why the good driver allowed said scum to place hands on her. I realize the scum has the advantage if the scum approached the good driver while still behind the wheel. I also realize good citizens don't want to chance charges themselves, but people this is a changing society. Protect yourselves from this type of scum, an eye for an eye. It is self defense if scum gets stupid.

7:50 AM, you named this one correct, Scum. Nothing but Scum. Standing in a parking space to save it is absolutely ridiculous to start with and when she put her hands on this person that would have been it for me and especially when she took the phone and threw it. Who does this scum thinks she is anyway. Go back to your ghetto and do your nasty deeds there.

Political correctness run amok. I am sure the offender feels the law sides with her after Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray and others. To a large extent the African American community is their own worst enemy.

Yes the African American community is without any doubts their own worst enemy. The problem starts with their complete lack of any morals and honesty. This is why their neighborhoods are chaotic. Unfortunately they don't have it in them to admit what is the truth.
