Incident: Wanted Subject
Date of Incident: 18 June 2017
Location: Booth Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Charles Andrew Coulbourne Jr., 32, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 18 June 2017 at 8:30 PM, a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Charles Coulbourne for a traffic violation. During the encounter, the deputy discovered a bench warrant for Coulbourne’s arrest. The warrant was issued after Coulbourne violated the terms of his probation in a DUI case.
The deputy transported Coulbourne to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Coulbourne on a bond of $1,000.00 in the Detention Center.
Charges: Violation of Probation


Incident: Wanted Subject
Date of Incident: 19 June 2017
Location: 27000 block of Ocean Gateway, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Salahuddin Abdul Ali, 71, Hebron, MD
Narrative: On 19 June 2017 at 12:15 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 27000 block of Ocean Gateway in Hebron for the purpose of locating a wanted subject. The resident, Salahuddin Ali, was wanted on a District Court Bench warrant that was issued after Ali failed to show for a Driving Without a License case back in 2015.
The deputy located Ali and took him into custody and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Ali on Personal Recognizance.
Charges: Failure to Appear 


Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 19 June 2017
Location: 35000 block of Mt. Hermon Road, Pittsville, MD
Suspect: Charles David Mitchell, 36, Pittsville, MD
Narrative: On 19 June 2017 at 6:56 PM a deputy responded to a reported domestic related altercation at a residence in the 35000 block of Mt. Hermon Road in Pittsville. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Charles Mitchell and a woman that resides with him had been involved in an argument that escalated to a physical altercation. According to the female victim, Mitchell grabbed her by the throat and slammed her into a wall. While on scene, the deputy observed signs of injury to the victim that corroborated her account.
The deputy placed Mitchell under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Mitchell in the Detention Center in lieu of $15,000.00 bond.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree 


Incident: Attempt to bring a firearm on a commercial aircraft
Date of Incident: 22 June 2017
Location: 5473 Terminal Rd, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Brian G Pettyjohn. 43, Georgetown, DE
Narrative: On 06-22-17 at 0810 hrs, a Deputy working an assignment at the Salisbury/Ocean City Regional Airport was contacted by TSA. A TSA Officer located a loaded handgun in the carry-on bag belonging to Brian Pettyjohn. Pettyjohn was detained at that time and the Deputy seized the handgun.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the Deputy completed an Application for Charges and presented it to the District Court Commissioner. The Commissioner issued a Criminal Summons on Charging Document later on 6-22-17. The service of the Criminal Summons on Mr. Pettyjohn is currently pending.

3:00 & 3:02, There's no picture because the Sheriff's Office didn't arrest him on the spot. In fact, they let him go on his way to catch another flight and are now HOPING he returns to Salisbury where they can serve him. Don't blame the TSA, they wanted him arrested on the spot and Sheriff Lewis refused to do it.

A year or so a NASA employee from VA did the same thing. They took his gun and let him board. No word on charges or court action... All media was silent!

Sounds like Lewis lets certain people break laws. Old DA rings a bell too

Olsen and J. Finch of Peace Alliance on the shore wish to Ban Guns....so this would not happwn
