DNREC Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police investigating apparent drowning at Seaford Boat Ramp

SEAFORD – DNREC Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police are investigating the apparent drowning of a 14-year-old boy this afternoon at the Seaford Boat Ramp on the Nanticoke River.

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police, Seaford Police, Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, Blades Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County EMS Paramedics responded to the scene. Fire company divers recovered the victim and he was transported to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford.

The ongoing investigation into the incident is being conducted by Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police and the Seaford Police Department.
