Some 411 on the web shows the MD state tax on fuel is between 30 and 33 cents per gallon (PA has a tax of 58 cents and is the highest in the nation). Gasbuddy shows today's average cost of fuel in MD is $2.24. Mminus the state tax gas would be $1.91. Couldn't find any county/city taxes (if there are any, which wouldn't surprise me if there are).
