Congressional Black Caucus Rejects ‘Social Gathering’ with President Trump

On Wednesday, the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) voted to reject an invitation to meet with President Donald Trump for a follow-up meeting.

“Given the lack of response to any of the many concerns we have raised with you and your Administration, we decline your invitation for 49 members of the Congressional Black Caucus to meet with you,” the group wrote in a letter addressed to the commander-in-chief from CBC Chairman Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA).

In his letter, Richmond said he failed “to see how a social gathering would benefit the policies we advocate for.”

Not surprised. Shows the mentality of the "black caucus". Still don't understand why there is not a white caucus

Bet they showed up at the Congressional picnic yesterday though! Anything free and they will be there. As far as work they are "lazy losers" as per the Clinton campaign in the leaked emails. Only thing Clinton hasn't lied about.

Caucus is a meeting of leaders , now a black caucus is a meeting of what what?
Well I'll tell you , a black caucus is a meeting of nonwhite leaders.
What do they discuss ? Well I'm glad you asked. Here is a list , food , rioting , food again , slavery , food again , welfare ,food again , free phones , food again . on and on. After hearing Cummings speak I do think the black caucus is spelled wrong , it should be black calkass .

The Black Caucus has done more harm to Black Americans than any other organization other than possibly the ACLU. They have further galvanized the racial division in America and dialed back over fifty years in our history. Maybe its time for respected leaders revisit this whole Black Caucus so they can stop disgracing their population segment.

Goes to show there is no real desire to solve any of the issues that they keep talking about. It is easier to complain, and raise money by doing so, than to pitch in and help solve the problems. As the old saying goes, "If you are not (willing to be) part of the solution.....
