Ex-FBI Director James Comey agrees to testify before Senate intelligence committee in open hearing

Former FBI Director James Comey has agreed to testify before the Senate intelligence committee after Memorial Day.

The committee’s chairman, Sen. Richard Burr, and the ranking Democrat, Sen. Mark Warner, announced Friday that Comey will testify in an open setting before the committee. The date of the hearing has not yet been set.

Burr says the committee wants to hear from Comey on his role in the development of the U.S. intelligence agencies’ assessment that Russia interfered in last year’s election.

Didn't Comey already say that Russia wasn't an issue in the election? Some would more like to hear about Hillary's Russian connections, which are already glaring.

He has said what it took to keep his job up until now. NOW...anything goes. The gloves are off and the notes do not look good for TRUMP.

He has agreed to testify. Nothing to undermine current or future investigations, surely.

He's lied multiple times to congress all ready...isnt that enough? You want to hear him lie more? You really trust him to tell the truth? Think he'd lie to cover crooks, including himself? You think he'd lie more now that he dosent have his job to worry about keeping. He's simply one of the highest ranking crooks.
