So Sheriff Lewis, are you denying ANYTHING happened? Carjacking, kidnapping, assault, rape??? You seem to only and carefully target the "rape" portion. Because I really think people are going to call you a LIAR.
This coming from a guy who claimed he had the DNA evidence on Thomas Leggs to get the "Death Penalty" and he LIED. They NEVER had the DNA evidence for the death penalty and that's why they made the plea deal once the Judge called them out on it.
Then there was the sending out THOUSANDS of people to search for Sarah Foxwell on Christmas Day, yet they already knew where her body was and they were sending out thousands of people to search somewhere else so they didn't come close to where they had found her body. NOT that I blame Mike for doing this, it was very smart and strategic, assuring no one contaminated any evidence since so many people were searching farms and properties on their own. Let's not forget that you and Davis spent all that taxpayer money to try a case 2 hours away, (so the press wouldn't be there to hear the lack of evidence they had) when you never had a death penalty case to start with.
So do I or will I believe a damn thing Mike Lewis says, absolutel not. He is a liar and bashes ANYONE who disagrees with him. But do tell everyone how IF you are so knowledgeable about "I am very familiar with any and all crimes alleging rape or sexual assault" how come you didn't know about the RAPE the SPD published today? The women need to come forth in person or through an attorney and provide police reports/document even if they need to be redacted to remove names. If these (1-15) rapes/assaults happened, there would be relatives - neighbors coming out of the woodwork claiming that it happened and they know the person.

It's is hard to believe there is crime or gangs in the Salisbury-Wicomico area. May have been back in the day when politicians were claiming no gangs. But, the good sheriff frightened them off by saying he was going to "rock their world". Been good around here for a very long time. Especially in the county, the Salisbury area you need to refer to Mr. Parsons.
Crime infested or not, act and carry yourself accordingly. You and only you can protect your well being. I respect law enforcers 100%, but they arrive after the fact in many cases.
@4:09- I remember refreshing the SbyNews site repeatedly that horrid day. Same thing...it was there and then it was gone. We felt sure that the search on Christmas Day was a set up of sorts, but did what we could anyway. So many people just needed to do SOMETHING.
I've had mixed feelings over the years about it, but it gave our own children an incredible perspective on community they would have missed otherwise.

Human trafficking victims file suit against Salisbury hotel

SALISBURY, Md. - A lawsuit has been filed on behalf of victims of a human trafficking ring that happened in Salisbury almost three years ago.
Online court records show lawsuits have been filed against Americas Best Value Inn. The lawsuits allege that the hotel knew or should have known about the trafficking ring.
According to a victim attorney, the victims sustained physical damages. He says the reason the suit has been filed is because the criminal case has finished.
Attorneys say a protective order has been filed to keep the victim's names private.
The leader of the prostitution ring, Cornelius Briddell, is serving a 145 year sentence in Cumberland, Maryland.
Victims explained during Briddell's trial that he would sell women for sex and force them to use heroin. Most of the cases allegedly happened at Americas Best Value Inn. The inn's general manager says she has no comment.

Joe just to let you know how long i have been following your site the first story I rember was stunt motorcycle riders at the old mall. One thing I think is sad is you where at one time Mike's biggest supporter just think if that relationship lasted how much safer we would all be. I for one would hope one day the two of you could mend the broken fence and work together. Both of you have great talents and it would benefit all of the Easter Shore if you joind forces.
