A Viewer Writes: WMDT Tweets
Joe it's not even 6 am yet and I was just awoken by a Tweet from WMDT Channel 47. WTF! And it was an advertisement at that! At 5:58 am WMDT sent out this Tweet. This should be against the law sending tweets that early. I am going to delete them from my twitter account. 47 ABCVerified account @47abc 4m4 minutes ago #GMD We have the perfect place for you to try out for lunch today! WOW, I haven't rejected so many comments so fast in all the years I've been doing this.
Yes, the WMDT Staff is all over this post as if they can hijack this Website. One thing is for sure, WMDT lives on Salisbury News. But it's no wonder. Those light in the loafer people from the bottom all the way to the top couldn't cover the news if it smacked them in the face.
So, you people want answers as to WHY this is such a big deal. Many people have CHILDREN who may work late or just be out late and keep their phones near them in case they get a call. Others have elderly parents who might get that call late at night.
NO, people do NOT have to turn their freakin phones off at night to please you a-holes. A viewer is ticked off and instead of FIXING what you a-holes started.
Now go kiss the Mayor and Ireton's a$$ with your Liberal sh!t and follow those Molly rainbows to your pot of whatever none of us want to know what's in them at the end. 7 AM would be NICE of you people instead of before 5 AM.

I dont have twitter does it make your phone go off whenever someone tweets? Cant you turn that option off as you can on FB? That wouldnt interfere with children or elderly parents. What is John Doe couldnt sleep and tweeted at 3 am??
You can turn off notifications for each app on phone. Disable twitter notifications and no more problem.
When you download an app you give it permission to send you push notifications. These can be disabled quite easily.
Do your job and stop bitching u want traffic u got it ahole
I think Twitter has options now that you can mute or just ignore certain accounts. You also may be able to just silence notifications from certain apps. I know I do. Might be options to consider.

Someone should send out a tweet about Princess Anne and why taxes are so high!! I think money is being spent somewhere it shouldnt be and I cannot wait until a whistle blower comes and exposes it. Front property assesment fees that never get paid off its crazy. The town roads suck.

Cheap bastards can't keep their MeTV working for the past week. Just sent the General Manager a message about it because it's been screwing up for more then a week now. Their advertisers shouldn't be paying for their commercials because they can't be seen. This is about to get VERY interesting.
