County prosecutor faces sentencing for hotel room sex acts in view of neighboring tourists

The state's attorney of Cecil County, Md., spent too much time naked at his sliding glass door, and complaints by four Pa. tourists led to his arrest.

UPDATE, 2:02 p.m.: Worcester County Circuit Judge Brian Shockley imposed a $1,000 fine and a 90-day jail sentence with all time suspended for Ellis Rollins, along with 100 hours of community service, 18 months of supervised probation and mental health treatment. Worcester County State’s Attorney said he asked for a two-year sentence with 18 months suspended, which would have meant Rollins would have spent six months in the Worcester jail, but Shockley did not take that recommendation.

UPDATE, 11:17 a.m.: Ellis Rollins submitted his resignation on Monday as state’s attorney, Cecil County Administrative Judge Keith Baynes confirmed today. The resignation is effective Friday at 4:30 p.m., Baynes said. The move was first reported by the Cecil Whig.

It’s Valentine’s Day, and the top prosecutor in Cecil County, Md., having already celebrated his love with his wife in full view of numerous others, will stand before a judge today and receive a criminal sentence for such public displays of affection.

OC has become so militant lately. Where's a hard working blue collar man supposed to get naked, unwind and relax now?

That's why people get so upset over the system! Nothing is what he got for a sick act! Elites always take care of each other! He will get another Govt. Job soon!

It's disgusting...what if I had a small child and they saw that, he would be swinging anything in front of a window again..hes a sick person,he knows people have kids and families visiting, yet he does this where they could see.. and he should not be allowed to practice law here..he's an attorney and knows what he was doing is against the law, yet he is so confident he wouldn't be punished..tells you a lot about him.
