Why can't they live within their means, save money for long term projects like the building, so on.
I don't understand why the bankers have such sway over local politicians.
They want to sell bonds. Sure.
But why do the local politicians want to take on debt?
It just isn't necessary.

The state has its own Radio dispatch system and other counties joined. I read the capital improvement plan and Wicomico didn't want to join, that could of saved us $22Million dollars. Why aren't we raising money for the West Salisbury School like what salisbury university does with its buildings. We could of raised around $3 Million Dollars and reduced the bond to $4.5 Million. I see it as anything below $1 Million Dollars shouldn't be funded by a bond, they should be either funded by our reserves or whenever we have the.money, so the Parkside and Wicomico projects shouldn't be on here, we should be paying that with cash not debt with this small project... That would of saved another $800,000. So we are putting $25.8 Million Dollars in the drain. That thought we elected a "BusinessMan", but all I see is what a typical politician does. our tax rates are the same from the poliitt era, so what was the point in voting for this guy? I always knew this guy is broken. I call him Broken Bobby. All talk no action, would of thought we have a tax cut by now. Like whats the requirements for running for county executive? I'm17 years old and I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines and see poor judgement be given! We need change! #Vote4Trump2016
