Nearly 10% of Parole and Probation Agent Jobs Still Unfilled as Justice Reinvestment Act Approaches

More than 120 total positions unfilled in Maryland Division of Parole and Probation

Baltimore –
Maryland Parole and Probation employees will highlight the severe staff shortages of Parole and Probation Agents and support staff and the lack of hiring by the Division of Parole and Probation at a press conference on Thursday. The state has 14 less Parole and Probation Agents in April, 2016 than in January, 2016 (67 unfilled authorized positions of 695 total authorized positions for agents).

It's a difficult and often thankless job. I can't even imagine doing it in a Maryland metropolitan area.

Dave T: How nice to hear we have hiring shortages while we have so many people who are unemployed! Something is very wrong with this picture. And a sincere thank you to all of our worthless politicians who do nothing to serve the people who elected them. What a disgrace! You clowns are pathetic from the Feds right down the line.
