Hillary Clinton Was A Corporate Lawyer

Speakers at the Democratic National Convention have spent the better part of the last week crowing about Hillary Clinton’s career in law, ostensibly the story of a journeyman advocate organizing for children.

“It was at the Children’s Defense Fund that I met Hillary,” said incoming Democratic National Committee chair Donna Brazile. “Steel in her spine, Hillary didn’t want to talk about anything other than how to make children’s lives better.”

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand was similarly effusive in her praise of Clinton’s career at the bar in the service of the marginalized. “We have a responsibility to one another,” she said. “It’s about who we are as a nation. It’s why after law school, she could have gone to a fancy law firm, but she chose to work at the Children’s Defense Fund, where she advocated for children with disabilities.”

The reality of Mrs. Clinton’s law career is more complicated.

Bill Clinton was disbarred after his impeachment for perjury to grand jury in 1998 as well. 🤓🤓

WAS is the keyword and not a good one at that. She was fired during the Watergate investigation for guess what? Lying.

Yale Law; as all grad school students know, getting in is the biggest hurdle.

Story already posted here how she laughed about having client rapist of young girl beat the rap.

Bill got elected Atty General in Arkansas. She got hired at Rose Law firm, prominent in the state.

Bill got elected Governor; she made partner with the law firm (generally takes about 7 years; not a fixed rule).

She was elected to Board of Directors of Wal-Mart; seems to have cashed her checks without making any waves. Bill was governor and they are based in Arkansas.

What a tireless advocate for the little guy! Just ask anyone who attended any of her speeches for Wall Street heavy hitters!
