FBI tells niece of skyjacking suspect they are ready to close one of America's biggest mysteries after 'matching' fingerprint
The Northwest Airlines notorious skyjacking saga that has baffled authorities for 40 years may have finally been solved.
An Oregon woman who claims her uncle was the elusive criminal known only as DB Cooper says she has been told by the FBI that her evidence is enough for them to close the file on the case.
Burdened by guilt over her knowledge surrounding the case, Marla Cooper came forward earlier this year, claiming she had a 40-year-old family secret protecting her uncle, a man named Lynn Doyle Cooper.
Marla Cooper said she was eight years old when her uncle, whom she called LD Cooper, came to her home, badly injured, for Thanksgiving in 1971 - the day after the infamous incident. He claimed his injuries were the result of a car crash.
Later, she said, her parents came to believe that L.D. Cooper was the hijacker. Mrs Cooper never saw her uncle again after that day and was told he died in 1999.

FAKE, DB Cooper was a scientist who blew the whistle on the govt detonating nukes in the Nevada desert and told them to stop because it was circling the globe and causing cancers... He, along with 11 scientist were killed... His name was Doctor Ben Cooper or Doctor Bill Cooper, I can't remember exactly which one it was...
This was a cover story, like how they do false flags now, to get your attention away from the true things that are happening... That is why you never found one ounce of evidence until now???? not one piece of evidence, and for the nay Sayers, do you think you could survive being up that high jumping out of a plane going those speeds???? NO and that includes if you didn't get sucked into the engines and killed because these were planes that had the 3 engines on the back of the jet, not under the wings or frozen to death, it is all in the math...
