Activists, parents, students and teachers marched Monday, upset Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is threatening to cut some of the $4.2 million allocated for after-school programs.
City Council leaders heard their cry and pledged to effectively shut down city government by not approving a proposed budget unless the mayor agrees to restore the funding.

It's called Babysitters, that is what the rest of us working folks do. My kid gets home to a college girl to watch her till we get out of work and get home.
