I guess anything is good when you wait an eternity for it. Slowest service ever...

Moe's Seafood in Baltimore/Glen Burnie. Hands down best crabcake anywhere. I can't believe it's not on the list! Fratelli s has a good flavor, but way to much filler.

I gave them a try and was unimpressed. Crab meat amount was good, but they were dry as the desert.

All of you are wrong as usual.I know where to get the best crab cakes and I'm not telling anyone where that is.

How are they coming off as Italian when they are GREEK.

Box Hill Pizzaria is on the list. They are amazing. Little pizza place on a strip mall. I think I will keep it local and vote for snappers in Cambridge

Then they are not looking very hard. There are so many restaurants around Baltimore that are less than A+ in appearance but they make some serious crab cakes. Good luck Fratelli's I hope you win but what a joke if you do.

Lol they are probably still using food from the old building fire.

Yes! Good Ole box hill! We frequented the red fox but box hill is still around and still awesome.
Now I'm homesick..

I highly doubt anyone here has ever actually been to Fratellis.

There's a reason they are packed every night, and it ain't because they have "limp salad" or "pasteballs"..

as always , nothing but positive comments from you losers!

The crab meat they use isn't even Chesapeake Blue crab, it's Indonesian! Sorry, not for my family!!

Box Hill will ship them anywhere. A bit pricy but you get 4 8oz cakes for $60.

Years ago the best crab cakes to be found were in Little Italy in Baltimore. They weren't always on the menu but if they had them they would let their regular customers know.

I've given Fratelli's three chances since they moved. They'll not get a fourth.

(1) Drop crab pot with bait into MD bay waters
(2) retrieve crab pot with crabs inside
(3) remove/steam crabs in beer
(4) remove meat from cooked crabs
(5) make homemade crab cakes
(6) eat/enjoy real MD crab cakes from home
(7) BEST EVER!

True 12:01 except you have to watch where you're dropping the crab pots. I have friends who live on the Chesapeake in AA county right at the mouth of the Patapsco River. You can see Balto City from their back yard. Great view esp at night but horrible nasty tasting crabs. You can taste the pollution in them. You have to go further out and over toward Rock Hall to get ones that taste better.

The Hideaway has some great crabcakes. Helps to have a nice boat to get there tho.
