Tax Preparation Assistance Feb 9-April 12

MAC Incorporated, the Area Agency on Aging, has once again joined with AARP to offer free tax preparation assistance to area seniors.

Volunteers will be at MAC in Salisbury on Tuesdays, Feb. 9 through April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The volunteers, who have been trained and are seasoned volunteers with the AARP tax program, will prepare Federal and Maryland returns. Participants are required to bring last year’s tax return.

This is a free service, but appointments are required. Call 410-742-0505, ext. 100. While there are still plenty of appointments in March and April, time slots will fill quickly.

Those with more complicated returns, which include several sources of income, may not be eligible for this free service.
