In a prime-time, televised town hall meeting, Obama dismissed what he called a “conspiracy” alleging that the federal government — and Obama in particular — wants to seize all firearms as a precursor to imposing martial law. He blamed that notion on the NRA and like-minded groups that convince its members that “somebody’s going to come grab your guns.”
“Yes, that is a conspiracy,” Obama said. “I’m only going to be here for another year. When would I have started on this enterprise?”
Obama defended his support for the constitutional right to gun ownership while arguing it was consistent with his efforts to curb mass shootings. He said the NRA refused to acknowledge the government’s responsibility to make legal products safer, citing seatbelts and child-proof medicine bottles as examples.

His claim that every illegal gun started out as a legal gun that an owner allowed in some way deliberate or not to get into the wrong hands is complete BS. Contrary to belief most guns used to commit crimes were not stolen from someone's home. Buying a gun legally and then giving or selling it to a person not able to pass a background check means the purchase stated out illegally from it's inception. A straw purchase. A lot of the guns used in Chicago are coming in from Mexico. May be with other inner cities as well. When the congresswoman was shot the biggest fear of the ATF that the gun used would be traced to Fast and Furious. obama's a liar and anyone who supports him is a horrid person. The worst of the worst and has no place in this country.

Obama never talked about enforcing the Laws on the books. He never spoke about mandatory sentences. Mandatory 15 yrs for use in a crime, 25 yrs if someone is shot during a crime, 30 years if a Police Officer is shot during the crime and Death penalty if anyone is killed during the crime, which includes up to the point of them being in Police custody. All these sentences will be served consecutively Day for day. No early release or good time and must work continuously while incarcerated. Death penalty trial would be heard within 1 yr or less and all appeals, no more than 2, must be heard within 3 yrs, with sentence to be accomplished within 14 days of the verdict which agrees with the original. This would be equal to the Sharia Law Obama and his AG is allowing to take over our Judicial system. Prison space no problem convert closed Military bases to prisons with minimum benefits. He is doing this for Illegals and trying to with Gitmo.
He said "I'm only going to be here for another year". This is only the beginning. There is a far larger progressive plan. Obama is merely a puppet, at best. The first executive actions are only planting a seed.
