Del. Mary Beth Carozza (R-38C) is gearing up for her second session of the Maryland General Assembly’s 2016 session, most of which, she admits, will be spent poring over Gov. Larry Hogan’s budget.
Carozza serves on the Appropriations Committee, which reviews legislation relating to operating and capital budgets, including the one submitted annually by the governor.
“The budget will take most of my time as a delegate. It’s extremely time consuming — my committee meets daily, and sometimes has both morning and afternoon sessions,” she said.
The goal, she said, was to “put our fiscal house in order while funding priorities.”

I hope one of her priorities will be putting the stolen money back in the State Employee Retirement Fund
This lady went door to door during her campaign and told me she did not think she was going to be able to win.Well she did i am glad she did. She is very sincere and for the people.Good luck to her in everything she tries to get done.
She is very sincere and truly wants to make a difference for Maryland, especially the Eastern Shore. I like the fact she actually listens to us, the "little people".
