It looks like the "artist" was too lazy to finish their work so they half-axxed it to get by. If you are going to paint, paint something that makes sense.
This artwork was done by my students at UMES. It was a large wheat paste mural of Darth Vader. It seems this blog is dedicated to belittling the efforts of others to engage the public and revitalize the downtown area.
Brad, Belittling? How about you and your alleged students put up crap and is pealing off the walls and looks more like graffiti then anything else. You are defacing property and IF you had any support towards the revitalization of Downtown Salisbury you'll get back out there with your alleged students and either FIX it or remove it.
Unless you believe what you left behind actually makes Salisbury look better?
I'll be sure to keep tabs to see if you UMES representatives actually give a crap or not.
"News" and/or "journalism" involves investigation and/or research. If you had done either of these things, you would have discovered that UMES is working in concert and under the authority of the Arts and Entertainment District through the Chamber of Commerce. My "alleged" students worked for 2 weeks painting the mural and several hours pasting the mural on the wall. It is done with the consent and approval of the property owners. It is meant to be a temporary project, and members of the committee maintain the resulting debris. I would encourage you to "keep tabs" on my students and myself in our commitment to the edification of downtown Salisbury and our service to the greater Eastern Shore community.
It's not destruction of property. If it was chalk, it would still not be destruction or vandalization of property. If it was the face of a store, and it was laid over the glass... Than maybe... But easily removable boards that do not stain or discolor bricks.. No. Maybe it's a hint to those who condemn it, it hire an artist to beautify it.

Looks like a crap print to me.
Plenty of artists vandalize walls.
More like what's left of art. The rest blew into the street and then the river.
Looks like litter to me.
What is it supposed to be?
As ALWAYS the libitards try to pass SH$$ Off as art. Have you ever talk to these so called Artists??? Talk about being in love with yourself.
"If I can do it, it ain't art." (Quote from then-Mayor Giuliani of NYC, when asked what his definition of art was.)
It's a profound statement on the human condition.
Appropriate for "da Bury".
Look closely - It is a part of a picture of Darth Vader
in a word, NO
