The protests at the University of Missouri that led to the resignation of President Tim Wolfe this week proved that the nation's higher education system has been "totally taken over by the hard left," former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy told Newsmax TV on Thursday.
"Forget about trying to reclaim the campus," he told "The Steve Malzberg Show" in an interview. "That ship has sailed.
"We're not going to reclaim the campus, not any time soon — and the way to do this is to blow up the model, not to try to reclaim it," he said.
"We can do education better with more quality and a whole lot cheaper by doing things like online courses and the like. That's where we ought to be going.
"It'll be better for the kids and it'll be better for the country."

NOTHING new here. that's why we left the public/government schools YEARS ago...duh
This is why so many homeschool or send their kids to private schools now.
They let the children have the wheelhouse, and now the ship will founder!
No big deal. It had to be a crap college anyway to get to this point.
Bye!
