AUSTIN -- Gov. Greg Abbott has ordered state health officials in charge of Texas' refugee resettlement program not to accept any more Syrians following the Paris terrorist attacks.
In a letter Monday to President Barack Obama, Abbott also urged scrapping federal plans to accept more Syrian refugees into the country as a whole. He said the federal government can't perform "proper security checks" on Syrians.
Texas joins Alabama, where Gov. Robert Bentley announced Sunday that he would refuse Syrian refugees relocating to his state.

Great job Texas ! Send them back to where they came from !
Ok Hogan it's your turn. Marylander's don't want any either. How many are with me on this?
Me
Larry hogan your UP.
Think this will stop them?? No. They will just come in disguised as refugees from somewhere else. This IS Obama's plan to change America.
So all refuges get painted with the same brush? Do you really think that will stop them from getting in?
Isis wins if we make paranoid policy based on fear. Figure out how to keep the good and weed out the bad.
There is no good if they are here illegally. Hogan, your turn, do not
let them in Maryland.
