Gelatine in jelly can boost your immune system, beat hangovers and banish cellulite

Next time you get the snuffles, forget the honey and lemon. Instead, tuck into a giant bowl of that childhood favourite - jelly.

Why? Because scientists say its core ingredient - gelatine - can give your immune system a powerful boost.

Gelatine, a solid, tasteless protein that’s made from slowly boiling bones (you may have noticed it when you leave meat stock in the fridge and it turns solid and wobbly), is also the secret behind why a bowl of warming chicken soup is good for you - because it is packed with amino acids, such as alanine and serine, which help build a powerful immune system.

They say "jelly"but picture looks like Jello. Never had jelly in the shape of a Jello mold, Short video it says to watch does not mention jelly or jello.. Bunch of malarkey . A posting not worthy of being displayed on here - IMO.
Eat boiled bones and red meat stew is going to cure my sniffles while I hear every day red meat is going to make me die of a heart attack. Think I'll.happily continue eating what I want as we all are slated to die anyway.

Great article and interesting comments. However, free will and destiny can and do co exist simultaneously. We have been afforded the right to make our own decisions, and that includes respecting our bodies and eating healthy when possible. When our time comes,it comes regardless of what we do to prevent it,but personally I would rather live until that time with some degree of good health. Thanks for this article.
