340 sanctuaries release 9,295 criminals

The number of jurisdictions that are obstructing immigration enforcement has grown to roughly 340, according to the Department of Homeland Security.1 This has resulted in the release by local authorities of approximately 1,000 criminal aliens per month.

According to an updated report prepared by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for Congress, between January 1 and September 30, 2014, local sanctuaries released 9,295 alien offenders that ICE was seeking to deport. More than 600 people were released at least twice.

Out of these, 5,947 of the criminal aliens (62 percent) had significant prior criminal histories or other public safety concerns even before the arrest that led to a detainer. Fifty-eight percent of those with a prior history of concern had prior felony charges or convictions; 37 percent had serious prior misdemeanor charges, and 5 percent had multiple prior misdemeanors.

Why do we allow this to happen? Why do we allow this administration to commit crimes of this magnitude? Why haven't we impeached this president and many congress people? Why hasn't anyone tried to blow this guy away? Is our nation gone? Do we start from scratch now?
18 trillion in debt or there about , is this true? So many questions , no answers.

Pacific Northwest looks like a time bomb. Send OBAMBAAA an e mail.

"The Obama administration has said it will not act to discourage them, and actively enables them."
This is the main problem. The dems who have spoken against Obama's admin and their illegal acts in the past were quick to reword their comments and told us "what they meant".
Makes you wonder what threats they received. And they claim the Republicans are simply biased and racist to criticize anything Obama does, even though he disregards the laws of the land. He was supposed to bring us all together, remember? He has simply divided us as a Nation even more.

I don't understand what they think they have to gain by creating "safe havens" for illegals.

I second the Putin for President comment.

"I don't understand what they think they have to gain by creating "safe havens" for illegals." This is how the democrats figure to win elections from now on.

I need to research, how many of these illegal "sanctuaries" are Democrat enclaves.

I hope there are no "criminal sanctuaries" on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

Pittsville is NOT. And won't be.

Vitter has the right idea. Now if the rest of Congress, especially the Republicans will just man up and sign on to the bill, we might stop this. Of course Obummer will veto it. So, make him veto it! Maybe some Democrats will get their heads out of the sand long enough to see what's happening and help override the veto!
