The Other Side of The Thin Blue Line

Call it Karma – or maybe just payback.

Either way, it’s bad news.

Last Friday, an Alabama cop pulled over a guy – apparently, over a traffic infraction. The guy argued with the cop; a fight broke out.

The guy got the upper hand and beat the cop senseless.

What’s remarkable about this incident – which got very little to no coverage outside of Birmingham – is the reaction of bystanders to the beating. Instead of coming to the cop’s aid – or even just calling 911 to summon more cops – they laughed, took pictures and posted the pictures of the cop lying bloody and unconscious in the street on social media sites like Facebook.

The natives (that’s us, by the way) are becoming restless.

Respect and deference are fading. Contempt – and something much stronger – are replacing them.

This should not come as a bolt out of the blue given the almost daily deluge of badged bullies strutting their stuff all over YouTube. Perhaps you saw the one of the California cop who unholstered his pistol on a guy who was standing beside his own vehicle, parked in his own driveway, in a suburban cul-de-sac? The cop was threatening the guy’s life because the guy had taken out his camera and was filming this cop, who just rolled into the cul-de-sac and sat there in his cop car, watching. If an ordinary citizen did this, it’d be stalking. If an ordinary citizen drew a gun, as this cop did, it’d be felony brandishing – and in many states, sufficient legal pretext to defend oneself with deadly force. But because the thug was in costume, he was legally able to stalk and threaten another human being and then just drive away.

The media's constant barrage of cleverly edited amateur video, talking heads yalping about a non-existent "epidemic" of white cops shooting down innocent blacks, and "community activists" demanding blood from anyone in altercation with a black, regardless of fault or guilt...this constant feed of propaganda streamed from countless media outlets brainwashes people without the faculties to think for themselves.

It has contributed to the fictional narrative that every cop is guilty, and every black person is innocent, and any contact with the police is to be taken as a personal, racially motivated attack.

Don't believe any of it. Another RUB (RICH URBAN BIKER) libitard trying to justify another POS who couldn't follow directions. He did exactly what they told him to do and nothing happened. He got caught speeding plain and simple he didn't like that. Would you attempt to beat up a cop or grab his gun for a traffic stop?? But if that cop pulled out another gun and killed that SOB what do you think would have happened? ??

It's not a black and white thing. It's a coos have to much power and violate peoples rights. The cop that pulled on the guy in his driveway would've had his brains blown out if that was me. It's all to common . the police are out of control.

Oh that's brilliant 10:52. So you would spend the rest of your life in prison and stain your family's name just because you are an anti-cop hothead. You need to seek out mental help or at the very least a mental evaluation immediately. You sound like a nervous maniac ready to explode and not the kind of person who needs to even own a firearm. The last thing the pro gun people need are an irresponsible gun owner like yourself. You give gun owners a bad name.

No. He is allowed to defend himself against a tyrant cop. Or any other tyrant government entity. This cop pulled on the guy. This cop is a criminal. And like all criminals, need to be laid down. In the end blowing this cop away would be justified in the supreme courts.
