@7:19, I am not aware. This is all speculation at this point, the only facts that are known are that she died of a blood clot and that she was healthy (other than the knee issue) prior to the surgery. Everything else right now is pure speculation. I was merely elaborating on what I took the previous comment to mean. Either way, this is an absolute devastating loss to the town of Pocomoke. Mrs. Pusey was an incredible person who cared so much about all those she came into contact with. Whether it was through sports, school, or just everyday life. The community is absolutely devastated. Tomorrow she will be laid to rest and an following her funeral there will be a parade down Market Street in remembrance of her.(A tradition held in Pocomoke when one of the High School teams won a state championship)
Where was she when she passed away---on the operating table---recoop at the hospital or recooping in a Rehab. Ctr.?????
I sure as heck want to know as I know a lady who had knee replacement----was at Health South---complained of excruciating pain in her knee----they literally told her it was to be expected after knee surgery--- she called an ambulance to take her to Atlantic General hospital>-----SHE HAD A BLOOD CLOT IN HER KNEE! Thank God-----She saved herself.
If possible----let us know where Ms Pusey was when she passed.
God Rest her soul----She left far to young & possibly from neglect.
Why do you want to know the Surgeon's name? What does he/she have to do with it? It is pathetic how people always want to place blame on others. Blood clots are an inherent risk of surgery, particularly Orthopedic surgery. Even when everything goes according to standard protocol, bad things can happen.

She recently had surgery on her knee. I heard she died from a blood clot today :(
Truly sad news. A true Pocomoke Warrior.
Wow. That's sad. Of all the things a blood clot.
I'm as so sad to read this. My sincerest sympathy to her family and friends and the students and staff at the school.
I used to live in Pocomoke and remember her from high school. She was a great athlete and I remember who she dated. This really breaks my heart!

I pray for Mrs. Pusey and her family.
