Great Video Joe!

For those that may view and think, 'How can I help support life?'.....there is a great way right here in Salisbury.

The Eastern Shore Pregnancy Center is hosting their Eleventh Annual Labor of Love Fundraising Banquet at The Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, MD, on Thursday, October 15, 2015. We are pleased to be again partnering with the Great Turn Around; an organization that is committed to serving pregnancy centers. Our keynote speaker is Pastor Charles Flowers. Our theme is “Stand in the Gap for Life.” We need the support of our entire community so we can continue to spread the word that all lives are precious and those that are the most vulnerable, need your help!

Can you attend the banqet? Become a table sponsor even make a donation? If you think you can and want to get involved in even a small way go to http://www.easternshorepregnancycenter.org and see how you can help! (Click on 'Partner with Us to make a donation!)

God Bless

Do as I once did. Adopt an expectant mother that is frightened. Take her to appointments, support her by answering questions truthfully. I matched her with another mother who had decided to have no further children (she had 3) and needed a home for baby clothes. Build a network with friends so that you become aware of the needs of young mothers at work. Women being there for other women. That is what needs to be in this country. If you support the mothers, they learn by example the beginnings of supporting their child.

How about taking some of the money spent spreading the "word" and assisting financially some of these woman who you convince to not get an abortion. Most of these woman's fears are financial when finding out they are pregnant. I don't see many of the people who are pro life standing in line at adoption agencies volunteering to raise any of these children.

Oh, the Eastern Shore Pregnancy Center does much more than spread the word. My description was inadequate so I put the link in my message. Funds raised help support the mothers, babies and families through counseling, access to baby care items clothing and more. Please check out the website, it is a fairly exhaustive list.

As for your second comment, those who adopt are often people who beleive and know that raising a child in a loving home is one of the most humanitarian and loving things anyone can accomplish. We strive to help birth mothers to recognize and do just that. I can't imagine how you can "see or not see" these pro-lifers as you put it standing in adoption agencies lines unless your running such an agency?

Oh, the Eastern Shore Pregnancy Center does do much more than simply spread the word. Pardon my brevity. Please check out the website for a full description of all that happens which includes options and support for mothers and families for baby items such as diapers, car seats, clothing, counseling and much much more. The Center strives to instill a sense that all life is worth preserving but we back it up with the type of support you suggest.

As for your second comment, not sure how to respond. Those that adopt children are most likely those that truly understand that providing a home and support for a child in need is the most valuable and rewarding experience possible. I would guess many are pro-life but certainly I've never polled those 'standing in line' at an adoption agency. Whether or not they adopt though does not diminish any support they may provide to a Pregnancy Center or to a mother and child in need.
