I believe the problem does not lie with the balconies, but with the drunken and high vacationers.....it seems that most of them are under 21 and totally out of control.

I said it before and I'll say it again....More people are injured in Ocean City by balconies than by guns. It's time to either ban balconies or legalize concealed carry.

I got an idea. Let's make o.c. a 25 and older resort unless accompanied by an adult 40+ yrs old. Makes sense. They're wanting to get rid of short term rentals. Can't smoke. Etc etc. Come on council this great safe idea is sure to finish of the town your killing!

Yup. And the ones who watched it will learn as well. I bet public sentencing would help deter criminals as well. Chop off a Couple heads in public for murder or molesting. This isn't compared to Sharia. I mean it hold the trial. Exhaust appeals then do it. And the molesting is accepted by Sharia. So yes . let's do this in public.
new construction should eliminate balconies on every OC building over two stories high.Current balconies should either be enclosed or removed entirely.Yes,I realize that a fall from even 2 stories could be life threatening,but it would be a start.

I love it when politicians make laws that cost people money. Yes! Remodel every rail and balcony . Job security.
