The change makes May the city's deadliest month since August 1990, when there were also 42 homicides.

A homocide is a killing of a human being by a human being, so even if it was justified, it's still a homocide.

4:20-It's not the FOP who are aware of the difference between a homicide and a murder. The headline is a result of "journalists" who are a product of the dumbed down US "education" system.
If you are going to report crime at the very least know what the pertinent terms mean.
