Weeks after the Governor announced that tolls at the Bay Bridge would be reduced for drivers and even more for those who use EZ-Pass, legislative leaders have called transportation officials to Annapolis to discuss the plan.
The Maryland Transportation Authority approved the $58 million toll reduction plan.
The Daily Record reports that some legislators have now expressed concerns about the lack of transparency related to the reductions. Others worry that road projects already planned would now be eliminated or delayed because there will no money to pay for them.

Why didn't they just say democrats don't want to eliminate taxes just raise them more!
Liberals don't want to give up revenue...what a surprise.
The Awipes that are complaining should be sent the difference then, since they don't want it to change ?
The people who complain are the same that robbed the funds already collected from citizens to maintain MD's roads. They used the money for their pork barrel projects until the money dried up. Now everyone is crying about not having enough money for more pork barrel projects but claiming it's needed for road maintenance.
Life in Annapolis will not change until the rest of the rats are eliminated.
Really you want to drive across a bridge that has has funding cut for maintenance?
@8:32pm It's funny how the past decade when Bay Bride fee was 2.50 the money was there to take care of funding the repairs needed and other stuff.
"Really you want to drive across a bridge that has has funding cut for maintenance?"
Let's be correct: The funding was stolen not cut.
The bridge tolls are only supposed to pay for the bridge in the first place! The users of the bridge pay for its maintenance!
The dumbocrats want to continue Marty's she;l game of reallocating transportation funds. This gives them a whining point....
Idiots!
Typical Democrats. "The sky is falling, the sky is falling." We need more money!....
You just can't make some people happy no matter what ya do.
