Gilchrest is a proven rino. Don't believe a word he says.

He was a house painter, and what, school teacher, before congress. He should have kept painting houses and stayed out of politics. The only people he helped were democrats. He voted with the democrats against G.W Bush, and his base (republicans) turned against him in the very next primary election. We should have just kept Bob Bauman. For all his sins, he never wavered in his support of the republican party. Just a little history here folks. I warned him that he would lose the next primary if he didn't stay true to the party, and I didn't even receive a courtesy "thank you for your comments" reply from his congressional office. All I can say is, Adny Harris has been a great replacement, so far. Although he better get on the right side of the wind shift on the marijuana issue in this country. In a close election, which is every two years for him, that issue could be enough to topple him.

Andy is an excellent congressman; we're lucky to have someone with his talents.

Regarding the weed comment. He's a physician, and more to the point, an anesthesiologist so he's very well versed on what effect various substances have on the body.

Further, look at the large percentage of arrests for DUI/DWI who have also have been smoking weed or have it in the car. It's clear the dopers aren't waiting for the buzz to wear off before turning the key.
