He stopped short of declaring his plans to run for president, but former Governor Martin O'Malley did tell ABC's This Week today, that the presidency is, "not a crown passed from family to family."
O'Malley did not say if he was referring specifically to the Clinton or Bush families, only "two families."
As governor, O'Malley supported Clinton in her last bid for president in 2008.
"I certainly believed that for those times, she was the best choice for us as a country," O'Malley said.

I can't believe this man is so narcissistic as to believe he would be good for this country when he screwed up Maryland completely.
I actually hope he's the dumbocrat nominee....
He'll be soooo easy to beat by whatever the Republicans can put up!
How did he leave the Kennedy family out of this?
O'Malley must have been asleep the whole time that Hillary was doing her pre-presidential climbing, from wife of a governor to FLOTUS (no experience necessary for either) to senator (no experience necessary, it seems) to state department head (only friends in high places necessary), with nothing to show for it all except a long string of dead people at home and abroad and a continuing sense of unabashed entitlement.
He tried to pass his "CROWN" to
"BROWN".
10:53 my thoughts exactly.
OweMalley's only claim to fame was trying to "out liberal" Obama. He is sporting a "brown crown", nothing to do with the last nominee for Gov.
It's also not an anointment, He has a record of failure.
